In many industry think tanks, Lodi Zinfandel has become the “thing.” I do like Lodi and the Zins this region brings to the table. The wines are rich, jammy, and full-bodied. The 2016 Gnarly Head is that, and a great value. TASTING NOTES: Loaded and ultra-fruity as I thought, this wine shows ripe blueberries in its aroma and flavors.
