This is part of a 3 bottle 2019 release from Balvenie distillery, entitled The Stories.
'The Week of Peat' is the second in the series, and is a 14 year old peated single malt. Since 2002, one week of the year is set aside at Balvenie to use peat in their malting kiln, and the whisky produced from it is set aside for an annual limited release.
The Stories series includes 'The Sweet Toast of American Oak' and 'A Day of Dark Barley.'
